Book Project Ideas

You will create some artistic impression of the book                       . The following are ideas you may use, but you are not limited to these.  If there is some other idea you have, please discuss this with us.  Have Fun!!!!

Create a  Pamphlet: Take a piece of large paper, divide it into thirds (by folding it), then design a brochure to advertise for “the community.”

Complete an ABC Book using any details from the book.  Each page should contain at least a five sentence paragraph describing each letter.

Talk Show Time  You and a partner could create a talk show interviewing a character from the book.  The character would dress as he/she does in the book and would answer questions by the talk show host.  The class could be the audience. 

Create  Wanted Posters  for three characters in the book.  Draw a picture of the character then answer the following information for your character:

            Character name

            Place last seen

            Physical Description

            Hobbies/Interests

            Acts

            Likes

            Dislikes

            Hang Outs

            Wanted For

Create a  Book of Letters to Characters by decorating the envelope with pictures from the  book.  Then writing a letter to the character about what happened in the book.  There should be a minimum of 5 letters.

Create a  Board Game.  Use your knowledge of the book and the characters in the book to create realistic event cards to govern the movement/points/scoring etc. 

Then make trivial pursuit type questions.
