"About Me" Page

Your assignment is to complete your "About Me" Page for your blog.  You may use this to introduce yourself to your internship students and teach them about character traits at the same time. This page will be geared toward 3rd-6th graders since our course content targets these grade levels. You will include illustrations, photographs, and/or any artistic impressions of you. Under each category (see below), you will include at least four descriptions along with the explanations. For example, if  you describe yourself as acting  enthusiastic, explain when or how you act enthusiastic. You are encouraged to include graphics and pictures for each category. Please incorporate descriptive phrases and characteristics. Please refer to the "Character Traits Descriptive Adjectives" link to help you describe your personality or how you act. You will also need to include at least one simile; past students have found similes fit best under the category "What I Look Like." Be sure to check out our link on color, sound, movement and "said" words. We will be giving each other feedback by commenting on the blogs.

Your About Me Page should include the following categories:

  • What I Like

  • What I Dislike

  • What I Look Like

  • How I Act (Personality)

    • What You Should Know About Me
