Littmus is sad that the Littmus Lozenge has lost its popularity, but he trusts you to come up with another candy that will be a big success. Just like the Littmus Lozenge, your candy should make people feel a certain emotion and have a certain flavor.

Brainstorm different emotions that you would like to put into a candy. Select an emotion, and then decide on a flavor, a name, and a slogan. When you have your candy invented, come up with an advertisement displaying your new candy and how it will make a person feel. Be creative! You want to make your candy just as big of a seller as the Littmus Lozenge!!

You can also investigate about the Civil War.  Where are the major battles of the Civil War studied?  Where are the battles of the Civil War found?  Who were some of the musicians found during the Civil War?
