Discussion Director

    Your job is to write 5 questions and answers from the assigned reading. Include the page number and the paragraph number where the answers are found (if possible). You should write a "thinking" question on your own that will really spark a thoughtful discussion and then choose from these question types:

Passage Picker

    Your job is to choose 3 passages from the assigned reading.  Your passages should include 3 of the following types of passages:

~1 Descriptive

~Foreshadowing

Write down the page number and paragraph number of the passage, the first and last two words of the passages, and the reason you choose this passage (make sure you explain why!).  Then, ask a question about your passage and give an answer.  Finally, answer one of the following two questions:  Why did the author include this passage in the story?  What does this passage add to the story?

Your job is to complete the Word Wizard for the following three words:

    Your job is to identify passages that exhibit the following traits Little Billy:

You should then explain how each passage demonstrates or proves these traits, identify the character's goal (which is what the character wants to do or accomplish), identify the problem and solution in the reading, and complete a sketcher or illustration of the character.

Choose one picture that interests you and click on that picture.  Then come up with 5 questions that you would ask Roald Dahl based on the picture that you chose.  Think about the picture that you chose and what it is about the picture that you would like to find out from Dahl.
